It generates electricity from renewable energies; and distributes and sells gas and electricity to individuals, companies, and local authorities.

The company has approximately 49,791 kilometers of distribution networks in Europe; and approximately 3,500 kilometers of high voltage lines and approximately 15,428 kilometers of gas pipelines and distribution networks internationally.

It also engages in the exploration, production, and supply of oil and liquefied natural gas.

In addition, the company involves in the operation of regasification terminals, gas terminals, and gas storages; manages and operates natural gas transportation networks; and operates as energy trader.

Further, it provides engineering consultancy services covering the life cycle of electricity, nuclear, gas plants, industrial facilities, and infrastructure; designs, produces, operates, and manages electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and climate-control facilities, as well as deploys industrial maintenance solutions; and involves in the design and implementation of solutions to optimize energy consumption by integrating the production and distribution of energy.
